- RMD-HF (d): pass-through hole for flat countersunk head screws, zinc-plated steel housing, ferrite magnet, for temperatures up to 200°C.
- RMD-HF (d1): smooth pass-through hole, zinc-plated steel housing, ferrite magnet, for temperatures up to 200°C.
- RMD-HF (d3): threaded pass-through hole, zinc-plated steel housing, ferrite magnet, for temperatures up to 200°C.
- RMD-HF-SST (d): pass-through hole for flat countersunk head screws, stainless steel housing, ferrite magnet, for temperatures up to 200°C.
- RMD-HF-SST (d1): pass-through hole, stainless steel housing, ferrite magnet, for temperatures up to 200°C.
- RMD-ND (d): pass-through hole for flat countersunk head screws, zinc-plated steel housing, neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) retaining magnet, for temperatures up to 80°C.
- RMD-ND (d3): threaded pass-through hole, zinc-plated steel housing, neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) retaining magnet, for temperatures up to 80°C.
- RMD-SC: pass-through hole for flat countersunk head screws, zinc-plated steel housing, samarium cobalt (SmCo) magnet, for temperatures up to 200°C.
- RMD-SC-SST: smooth pass-through hole, stainless steel housing, Samarium cobalt (SmCo) magnet, resistant to temperatures up to 200°C.
Features and applications
RMD flat retaining magnets are shielded magnetic systems with high performances and moderate overall dimensions.
To ensure that the adhesive force is not impaired, the fixing screws must be made out of non-magnetic material.
Owing to the lower magnetic conductivity of stainless steel, the adhesive forces of the RMD-SST executions are lower than those of the zinc-plated steel RMD executions.
