Standard executions

Clamping assembly by means of phosphatised steel class 8.8 (GN 706.3-ST) or AISI 304 stainless steel (GN 706.3-NI) screw, cylindrical head with hexagon socket.

Threaded hole for set screw:

  • d1 = 20 ÷ 36 pass-through
  • d1 ≥ 42 blind
  • GN 706.3-ST: sintered black-oxide steel.
  • GN 706.3-NI: AISI 316LHC sintered stainless steel.

Features and applications

These set collars are used not only on threaded shafts 6g tolerance, as end stops, but also for fixing other components, as end limit switches.

After clamping, the thread of the set collar may no longer be in stable-tolerance (6H).

The clamping screw d3 may be replaced by clamping kit GN 311
