Ready, set, go!

In addition to spending a morning together to promote a healthy lifestyle, participation will allow us to support an important assistance service for the city of Monza: the renovation of the building that houses the Multifunctional Center for Prevention and Oncological Assistance "Borgo Antico" in via San Gottardo. The project, whose work officially began on May 5, involves the transformation of the current clinic into a facility completely specialized in prevention, offering all of LILT's services. The reopening of the Center is scheduled for autumn 2022.

“ELESA’s solidarity in favor of the Italian League for the Fight against Cancer had a typically family origin thanks to my mother’s volunteer activities in the Lega’s Child Assistance Committee, to which she had dedicated herself with great passion since the late Seventies in Milan. A participation that first involved my father, Alberto Bertani, President of ELESA and later also us children and the family business. This gave rise to an ongoing relationship that, with different interventions according to the circumstances, has lasted for over thirty years” explains Eng. Carlo Bertani, CEO of ELESA. “I would like to recall in particular not only Elesa’s substantial contribution to the construction in the early 2000s of the Multipurpose Center in Via San Gottardo, of great social utility, but also the support for the Movemen Campaign, dedicated to the male public” adds Bertani. “But the appointment with the Marcia Formula 1 has now taken on the dimensions of a real corporate event for ELESA thanks to the active and enthusiastic participation of our staff and their families. And this makes us doubly proud”.
