Hygiene, safety and reliability: ELESA solutions at Cibus Tec 2026

Elesa S.p.A. will be exhibiting at Cibus Tec 2026, taking place at Fiere di Parma from 27 to 30 October (Hall 2 – Stand L 019). This international event showcases innovation in the food and beverage industry, with solutions ranging from processing technologies and packaging to automation and logistics.

At Cibus Tec, Elesa will present a selection of product ranges and standard components developed for applications in which ease of cleaning, corrosion resistance, detectability and reliability are essential requirements, particularly in food and beverage processing equipment.

Components in the Visually Detectable range are manufactured in signal blue RAL 5005, a colour rarely found in food production and processing environments. This makes them easy to identify visually, helping to reduce the risk of fragments going unnoticed during production. Designed to enhance production process safety, these components are made from technopolymer suitable for food contact, in compliance with FDA CFR 21 and EU Regulation No. 10/2011, and feature AISI 304 stainless steel inserts for mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. Their carefully designed geometries also facilitate cleaning, helping to meet the hygiene, safety and reliability requirements of production equipment.
Elesa's Hygienic Design range includes a wide variety of components, such as handles, clamping knobs, levelling feet, nuts, screws, toggle clamps, positioning plungers, wing nuts, lobed handwheels and adjustable handles. Designed to facilitate cleaning and maintain high hygiene standards, these components are manufactured from corrosion-resistant materials and feature smooth surfaces and geometries specifically developed to minimise the accumulation of residues and contaminants. They are suitable for a range of applications, including the food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries, as well as other sectors subject to stringent hygiene requirements. The range includes solutions designed in accordance with relevant standards and guidelines, including 3-A, EHEDG and DGUV.

The HVD range of sealed components includes adjustable handles and levelling feet designed for applications involving frequent washdowns or exposure to liquids, where high hygiene standards must be maintained. Featuring seals made from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), with a hardness of 70 ± 5 Shore A and in blue RAL 5005, these components offer a high level of protection against the ingress of liquids and contaminants, as tested in accordance with IP65 and IP67 protection ratings. Their cavity-free design, smooth surfaces and integrated seals facilitate cleaning and prevent residues from accumulating at joints. HVD solutions are particularly suitable for food processing machinery and equipment, helping to ensure protection, reliability and ease of cleaning.
The DD51-E-RF and DD52R-E-RF wireless electronic position indicators are designed to enable fast, precise and safe manual positioning of machine components, particularly in applications involving frequent format changes. Connected to the UC-RF control unit via radio frequency, they transmit both target and actual position data without the need for cables, simplifying installation and reducing set-up times. Featuring an AISI 304 stainless steel bushing and also available with a blue RAL 5005 housing, these indicators are equipped with highly legible LCD displays and are available with IP65 or IP67 protection ratings.
