Elesa - PC Panel Clamping Pliers: PPMA Award

PC, the innovative panel clamp offers a firm grip and extremely easy assembly: these are the main features of the new winner of the PPMA Monza award, November 2014.

A simple product in terms of shape and size, capable of guaranteeing high standards in terms of ease of assembly, versatility and level of safety. The PC panel clamp, made of grey technopolymer with a matte finish and over-moulded plastic elastomer pads, is the ideal element for easily installing protective panels on aluminium and steel profiles of 25 mm and more, without any drilling.

The APC adapter further increases the versatility of the PC clamp, allowing it to be fixed on round tubes with a maximum thickness of 2 mm.

The PC clamp is composed of two bodies connected by a joint that guarantees the captive nature of each element (ELESA patent) even in the event of disassembly of the panel, as required by the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC). Precisely because of its uniqueness, the ELESA PC panel clamp was recently awarded as ‘Most Innovative Support Equipment’ at the 2014 edition of PPMA, the British trade fair dedicated to packaging processes and machinery. This is an important recognition for the innovative design of ELESA standard components.

The PC panel clamp convinced the judges thanks to its excellent combination of functionality-design and its versatility, which allows it to be used in many industrial sectors. With this latest recognition, Elesa has 35 Industrial Design awards.
