Elesa for the San Gerardo Hospital in Monza

Elesa did not hesitate for a moment to confirm its support for LILT once again in the #Stopcoronavirus Help us to Stop it! campaign, thanks to which the Monza-based company was able to donate two lung ventilators to the intensive care unit of the San Gerardo Hospital in Monza, a hub in Brianza for Coronavirus.

Elesa's history is deeply rooted in the territory of Monza and Brianza, also thanks to various Social Responsibility and charity initiatives in favor of various organizations, including the Italian League for the Fight against Tumors, which Elesa has supported for over 20 years.

A responsibility felt first-hand by the President of the company, Eng. Alberto Bertani, who once again responded to the association's appeal by contributing to the purchase of two lung ventilators that were delivered on the very day the company closed the plant in Via Pompei, as required by the decree, but ready to reopen on April 6 or as soon as possible. A decision taken with great responsibility and with a promise: we will come back stronger than before!

In fact, yesterday the company's employees wanted to reiterate with a banner on the entrance gate. The imposed stop has nevertheless allowed the company, a leader in the design and production of standard components for industrial machines and equipment for numerous sectors, including medical and hospital, to organize itself to ensure sufficient stock for the 12 branches around the world and the entire distribution network which, compatibly with local government regulations, will continue to work.
