Reading time: minutes
Elesa will be exhibiting at Interpack (Düsseldorf, 7–13 May), the world’s leading international trade fair for the packaging industry and a global benchmark for packaging and processing solutions, materials and technologies.
Elesa will be in the “Components” area, the satellite exhibition space dedicated to technical components, where it will present selected product lines alongside its latest innovations for food processing machinery and pharmaceutical equipment.
Visitors will be able to discover:
Visually Detectable and Metal Detectable, components, available in Signal Blue RAL 5005 and Green Blue RAL 5001 respectively, designed to enhance safety in production processes and manufactured using materials suitable for food contact (FDA CFR 21 and EU 10/2011). Visually Detectable components are easily identifiable to the naked eye, as this colour is not typically present in the environments in which they are used. Metal Detectable components, by contrast, incorporate a specific additive that enables the detection of particles as small as 5 mm using metal detection systems.
Both ranges feature AISI 304 stainless steel inserts, ensuring mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, while their compact design facilitates cleaning operations.

MRY-SST-HVD watertight adjustable handles, developed to meet the stringent requirements of sectors where hygiene and process safety are critical. They ensure reliable performance even in demanding environments such as the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The handle grip, made from Signal Blue RAL 5005 technopolymer with a smooth finish, is combined with AISI 316 stainless steel components. The cavity-free design, together with a surface roughness of Ra < 0.8 µm, ensures a high level of cleanability. The sealing system integrated into the indexing mechanism provides excellent tightness, reducing the risk of ingress and residue build-up, which may otherwise become a source of contamination. This makes the handles particularly suitable for environments subject to frequent washdowns, including high-pressure water jets.
LY.A-STP-HVD watertight levelling feet, designed for applications involving frequent
washdowns or the presence of liquids, where high hygienic standards are required. The base and articulated stem are manufactured from glass fibre-reinforced polyamide-based SUPER-technopolymer (PA), in Signal Blue RAL 5005. The system is completed by a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) sealing gasket (70 ± 5 Shore A), also in Signal Blue RAL 5005, and an NBR rubber anti-slip pad (70 Shore A). LY.A-STP-HVD feet (ELESA patent), supplied fully assembled, are suitable for machinery and equipment exposed to frequent water jet cleaning or operating in liquid-prone environments, and have been tested to IP65 and IP67 protection ratings. The cavity-free design, smooth surface finish and integrated sealing gasket on the stem ensure high resistance to the ingress of liquids and contaminants, maximising cleanability and preventing the accumulation of dust or residues at junction points. The SUPER-technopolymer also guarantees high stiffness and mechanical strength, combined with inherent corrosion resistance.
Elesa technologies: from application to innovation
Alongside its component range, Elesa will also present live demonstrations of suction cups and wireless electronic position indicators, highlighting practical, real-world applications of its technologies.
Suction cups enable the gripping and handling of products and packaging of varying shapes and sizes. They are available in a range of compounds (oil-resistant rubber, silicone, natural rubber) and geometries (round, flat, elliptical and bellows), making them suitable for both delicate products and heavier loads, as well as uneven surfaces. Applications range from handling delicate food products such as chocolates, biscuits and eggs, to processing labels, stickers and paper sheets, as well as moving heavier items such as glass, ceramic and marble slabs. The range also includes high-grip suction cups (ensuring high friction even in the presence of water and oil), solutions for flow-pack packaging, vulcanised suction cups with increased tensile strength, and reinforced bellows suction cups for heavy-duty applications.
Combined with Elesa vacuum accessories, such as vacuum cup holders and related components, they form a highly flexible system. Vacuum cup holders, available in different designs and materials, are suitable for a wide variety of industrial applications where stem dimensions are a critical factor.

DD52R-E-RF wireless electronic position indicators are designed for fast, precise and safe manual positioning of machine components, particularly in applications characterised by frequent format changes. Connected via radio frequency to the UC-RF control unit, they enable the transmission of target and actual position data without the need for cables, simplifying installation and reducing set-up times. The high-visibility LCD display guides operators during adjustment operations, while the high degree of protection (up to IP67) makes them suitable for industrial environments subject to frequent washdowns and demanding operating conditions..

The value of innovation in industrial environments
By participating in Interpack, Elesa reaffirms its commitment to developing reliable, high-performance solutions customised to the needs of the packaging and processing sectors, where hygiene, precision and operational continuity are essential.
The Düsseldorf event represents a strategic opportunity to meet international customers and partners, share expertise and showcase innovation, underpinned by strong design capabilities, careful material selection and continuous investment in research and development.
