Level sensors

Elesa level sensors are components that can be used in fluid control systems to determine the level of a tank or container. They work by providing an electrical signal, automatically communicating when connected control valves should be opened or closed. We have manufactured these sensors to the highest standard, making them suitable for use in the production processes of pharmaceutical, chemical, and food industries. Made from strong, durable, and lightweight technopolymer, our level sensors can determine the levels of different types of free-flowing media such as liquids, powdered solids, and granular solids.

Our HFL-E level sensor features a rapid level that shows a minimum or maximum default level, according to the application needs. These components are highly versatile. They allow the operator to define the most accurate set point by simply disassembling the dipstick float and cutting the stainless steel dipstick exactly where needed, according to the specifications displayed in our catalogue. The float itself is free from magnetic parts to prevent interference with the liquid. It is ideal for use in tanks containing dirty liquids, water, oil, coolant oil, and ferrous metal parts or foams. To ensure utmost safety, the electrical components are separated from the tank and perfectly sealed by means of ultrasound welding.

The HLFT-E version features a dipstick with two raised scales for floatation in oil and water.

Both Elesa level sensor versions, which have a maximum continuous working temperature of 180°C, are available in two assembly types:

  • HFL-EF: by means of a flange with 3 holes at 120° for 3 zinc-plated steel screws with the supplied hexagon socket. It can be also be assembled with 2 holes at 180°.
  • HLF-ER: by means of a 1” Gas threaded coupler.

You can find these sensors in the accessories for hydraulic systems section of the Elesa catalogue. Also within our catalogue is information on how to assemble the two-pin connector for the sensor.
