Features and applications
GN 743.8 oil level indicators can be used on pressurised oil tanks. The seal between the brass body and the ESG glass window is guaranteed by an O-ring in FKM type VITON®*.
The coupling of the conical threading (d2) with a right female threading (d4) will improve with the more threads that are in contact.
Generally to improve the tightness of this type of level indicators a sealing element like teflon ribbon is used.
