Soft-touch
Lobe shaped or fluted grip knobs together with two-volume or knurled handles represent the "SOFT" line.Commonly know as Soft-touch, these new elements have been developed by ELESA's R&D department for use on machinery and equipment requiring frequent tightening, or for applications subject to severe stress.
The major characteristics of "SOFT" products are to ensure a safer and more stable ergonomic grip and to improve the comfort of the operator's hand, increasing adherence to the element and absorbing vibrations even in unfavourable environmental conditions such as humidity, aridity, heat, cold and grease.

Ergostyle® by ELESA
Conceived for a broad spectrum of applications, typical of new market segments, Ergostyle® elements are destined for hospital and medical equipment and laboratory fittings, office furnishings, leisure and sporting equipment, and, generally, wherever aesthetics and user-friendliness are key requirements for the market success of a product.
A basic feature of the new elements, besides a perfect ergonomic function, is that of adding to the quality and value of the equipment for which they have been designed, by fully blending with it.
All products in the Ergostyle® range are marked by five small dots.
They stand for the five letters in ELESA’s name, an almost imperceptible signature, not to interfere with the brand identify of the product on which it fits.
Be sure to look for them:
a small unobtrusive mark, making a world of difference.
RoHS compliancy
The majority of the standard products available in the ELESA catalogue are compliant with the European Directive 2002/95/CE (RoHS directive, Restriction on Hazardous Substances).
However, there are some exceptions for some products which are not yet compliant owing to technological limits in the field of research in raw materials hence not due to ELESA's direct responsibility.By clicking on each product code in the table, you can directly check the status of the product as to RoHS compliancy.
All compliant products are supplied with a label showing the RoHS symbol.

Material
High resilience polypropylene based (PP) technopolymer, coated with "soft-touch" thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) chemically bonded, hardness 70 Shore A. Resistant to solvents, oils, greases and other chemical agents. The coating material is certified in compliance with FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration).
Colour
Black, matte finish.

Brass boss, tapped hole.
Magnifying lens
Transparent polyamide based (PA-T) technopolymer. Resistant to solvents, oils, greases, petrol and other chemical agents (avoid contact with alcohol). Press-fit assembly. It improves the visibility of the labels.
Features and applications
The surface, coated with "soft-touch" elastomer, improves the grip even in the presence of oils, greases and sweat from the hand. For this reason it is suitable for fitness machines, tools and machines for gardening and goods transport, high-precision instruments and disability aids.

Self-adhesive labels

Label assembly instructions
Stick the self-adhesive label (printed on the adhesive side) to the inner surface of the magnifying lens by pressing from the centre to the external side to avoid air bubbles. Assemble the magnifying lens to the handle face recess by gently tapping with a wooden or plastic mallet, until firmly in place. The label is therefore protected by the watertight magnifying lens.
