RoHS compliancy
The majority of the standard products available in the ELESA catalogue are compliant with the European Directive 2002/95/CE (RoHS directive, Restriction on Hazardous Substances).
However, there are some exceptions for some products which are not yet compliant owing to technological limits in the field of research in raw materials hence not due to ELESA's direct responsibility.By clicking on each product code in the table, you can directly check the status of the product as to RoHS compliancy.
All compliant products are supplied with a label showing the RoHS symbol.

Material
Glass-fibre reinforced polyamide based (PA) technopolymer. Resistant to solvents, oils, greases and other chemical agents.
Colour
Black, glossy finish.
Screw covers
Technopolymer in six standard colours, matte finish, press-fit assembly, removable by a screwdriver.
Available also as accessories sold separately (see caps table).
Assembly
M.479/150-8: through holes for cylindrical-head screws with hexagon socket. Screw covers supplied not assembled.
M.479/150 B-M8: brass boss, tapped holes. Screw covers supplied assembled.
Technical data
Tensile stress and impact strength: F1, F2, L1 and L2 values reported in the table are the result of breaking tests carried out with the appropriate dynamometric equipment under the test conditions shown in the figure with ambient temperature.
