RoHS compliancy
The majority of the standard products available in the ELESA catalogue are compliant with the European Directive 2002/95/CE (RoHS directive, Restriction on Hazardous Substances).
However, there are some exceptions for some products which are not yet compliant owing to technological limits in the field of research in raw materials hence not due to ELESA's direct responsibility.By clicking on each product code in the table, you can directly check the status of the product as to RoHS compliancy.
All compliant products are supplied with a label showing the RoHS symbol.

Knob
Glass-fibre reinforced polyamide based (PA) technopolymer. Resistant to solvents, oils, greases and other chemical agents. Built-in zinc alloy toothed insert for coupling to the metal clamping element.
Colour
Black, matte finish.
Centre cap
Black technopolymer centre cap. On request and for sufficient quantities, it can be supplied in yellow RAL 1021 (safety) or in other colours, with customised graphic symbols, marks or writings.
Clamping element
Black-oxide steel with threaded hole and toothed element for coupling to the built-in zinc alloy insert, black-oxide steel retaining screw and AISI 302 stainless steel return spring.

Features and applications
Particularly suitable for all those applications which require the knob to turn freely to avoid that clamping may be accidentally affected.
Instructions
Press the knob to engage the toothing and turn it.
By releasing the knob the spring releases the toothing, thus the knob returns to the free position.
Ergonomy and design
The particular design of this knob follows rigorous ergonomic standards: five-lobe shape, blended radius, well proportioned rim height offer a natural, safe and comfortable grip, allowing the operator to obtain a strong clamping action.
