RoHS compliancy
The majority of the standard products available in the ELESA catalogue are compliant with the European Directive 2002/95/CE (RoHS directive, Restriction on Hazardous Substances).
However, there are some exceptions for some products which are not yet compliant owing to technological limits in the field of research in raw materials hence not due to ELESA's direct responsibility.By clicking on each product code in the table, you can directly check the status of the product as to RoHS compliancy.
All compliant products are supplied with a label showing the RoHS symbol.

Base
Chrome-plated steel, matte finish. Assembly by means of two holes for M4 (D=1.06) or M5 (D=1.34) cylindrical head screws.
- Execution A: holes parallel to the spindle axis.
- Execution B: holes perpendicular to the spindle axis.

Knurled aluminium profile, anodised, black colour.
Spindle
Steel.
Cap
Acetal resin based (POM) technopolymer, light grey colour. Resistant to solvents, oils, greases and other chemical agents.
Numbering
- 10 marks (D=1.06) or 15 marks (D=1.34) on the chrome-plated base which correspond to 10/15 knob rotations. Each mark corresponds to 0.039 inch (1 mm) linear movement.
- 0,1...0,9 (50 marks on the knob). Each mark corresponds to 0.00079 inch (0.02 mm) linear movement.Values increasing with clockwise rotation.
Special executions on request (For sufficient quantities)
- Values increasing with anti-clockwise rotation.
- On the surface of the cap words, marks, graphic symbols, etc... can be tampoprinted in colours.
Features
GN 727 control knobs allow precise adjustment or aligning, for example, of a limit stop device. The spindle has a clearance-free threading. Marks on control knobs are laser-engraved thus well legible thanks to the contrast of the "aluminium-coloured" numbers against the black anodised knob surface. The same effect is achieved with black numbers engraved on a chrome-plated matte surface.
