RoHS compliancy
The majority of the standard products available in the ELESA catalogue are compliant with the European Directive 2002/95/CE (RoHS directive, Restriction on Hazardous Substances).
However, there are some exceptions for some products which are not yet compliant owing to technological limits in the field of research in raw materials hence not due to ELESA's direct responsibility.By clicking on each product code in the table, you can directly check the status of the product as to RoHS compliancy.
All compliant products are supplied with a label showing the RoHS symbol.

Threaded body
AISI 303 stainless steel, hexagon socket head.
Standard executions
- GN 616-SN: nitrided AISI 303 stainless steel bolt, stainless steel spring with normal end-force.
Maximum working temperature 250°C.
- GN 616-KN: acetal resin based (POM) technopolymer bolt, stainless steel spring with normal end-force. Working temperature from -30°C to +50°C.
Special executions on request
- GN 616-SN-MVK, GN 616-KN-MVK: thread locking by means of micro-encapsulated red patch (see
Technical Data).
Working temperature from -40°C to +170°C.
- GN 616- SN-PFB, GN 616-KN-PFB: thread locking by means of polyamide blue coating (see
Technical Data).
Working temperature from -50°C to +90°C.
