RoHS compliancy

The majority of the standard products available in the ELESA catalogue are compliant with the European Directive 2002/95/CE (RoHS directive, Restriction on Hazardous Substances).

However, there are some exceptions for some products which are not yet compliant owing to technological limits in the field of research in raw materials hence not due to ELESA's direct responsibility.By clicking on each product code in the table, you can directly check the status of the product as to RoHS compliancy.

All compliant products are supplied with a label showing the RoHS symbol.

Tube
Anodised aluminium, shaped, matte finish.

Colour
Natural or black.

Handle shanks
Glass reinforced polyamide based (PA) technopolymer, black colour, semi-matte finish.

Assembly
- Execution UG-03: back mounting, zinc-plated steel tapped bosses.
- Execution UG-04: front mounting, through holes for stainless steel cylindrical-head screws with hexagon socket and zinc-plated self-locking nuts, included in the supply.

Features and applications
UG series handles can be used in many different applications. The central aluminium tube, supplied separately from the shanks, is extremely simple and safe to assemble.
UG series handles adapt well to use on a 19" rack and instruments in general.
Column HE of the table below contains the height units of the front panel: 1 HE = 44.45 mm (1 6/8") to enable you to choose the correct handles.
